One file, up to 32 MiB. Empty files are supported. Native Web Crypto reads the full file into memory; a 32 MiB input can require at least another similarly sized working buffer. Close unused tabs on memory-constrained devices. Larger files are rejected before reading.
Exactly 64 hexadecimal characters, ignoring case and surrounding whitespace. A match only confirms agreement with the checksum you supplied; verify that checksum through a trusted source. This tool does not scan for malware or authenticate a publisher.
